Hi! I'm Jinny Rani George, Wax Expert, Makeup Artist, Lashologist and owner of Smooth & Lovely. I have been a licensed Esthetician since 2004. I trained in workshops at the Makeup Academy and received my certificates for Airbrush Makeup in 2005, and Bridal Makeup and Eye Makeup in 2006. I received my certificate to be a Lashologist from the Dallas Skin Institute in January 2015. I also worked at European Wax Center for 3 years as a Wax Specialist. My first suite was called Waxing by Rani and it was at the Firewheel Salons in Garland, TX. I was there for a year until I relocated to the Salons of Dallas at Knox and reopened for business in January 2013 as Smooth & Lovely.
I fell in love with makeup from the moment I put on eyeliner when I was 4 and my love for it only grew from there. I always knew growing up that I would have a career in the beauty industry because of how obsessed I was with makeup. Waxing was something I stumbled upon as a last resort after trying numerous methods to remove unwanted hair that weren't successful. It was the only thing that worked and became a necessity for me.
I dreaded the pain and the embarrassing inflamed skin that lasted for days but I assumed that was normal because that's the reputation waxing had back then and unfortunately still has to this day. It wasn't until I became licensed and used professional products that I realized waxing didn't have to be such a nightmare.
After years of specializing in waxing and threading, Brazilian & Brow sculpting have become my top services. My goal isn't just to remove hair but to also remove the fear that is associated with it.
Every service I offer comes with my commitment to making sure you love the results! My loyal clientele is testament to that! I educate my clients on post care and the do's and don'ts of waxing, threading, and lashes because that is crucial to achieving and maintaining the desired results.
